As Head of Data Science I am currently building up the data science team from scratch, orchestrating recruitment, team development and implementing strategic initiatives to enhance the organization’s data analytics capabilities.

In my role as Business Intelligence Analyst I contributed to the team’s innovative efforts by promoting the introduction of Python into our team’s tech stack and introducing and administering a new self-service BI tool. I also worked together with our business departments in developing a better understanding of their data.

My primary role was to develop an innovative solution for the audit needs of our customers. This was achieved by modernizing the tech stack and moving away from Excel-driven analytics and building a modern analytical tool on top of a centralized data warehouse.

I rejoined my department where I worked in as working student and took more responsiblity for the reporting processes in Risk Management and other departments. This included developing and automating the existing reports and working together with other business teams to create new insights from data.

During my studies I was able to work part-time with a team of data scientists on developing machine learning models for targeted marketing and recommendation systems.

In my role withing Risk Management I led the automation and refinement of manual reporting procedures. Utilizing my expertise in databases, APIs and Excel/VBA, I was able to significantly increase operational efficieny. A crucial aspect of my responsibilities involved not only automating existing processes but also innovating and advancing reporting systems to meet evolving business needs.
